LPCB - Loss PreventionCertification Board; is a leading certification organization in safety and fire protection fields. Especially in Asia-Pacific, Middle East and Europe the LPCB approval is held in regard by governments and regulating authorities.The LPCB approval process consists of evaluations and tests to determine whether the product meets the quality standards set by a group of experts consisting of insurance agents,designers,manufacturers,installers,engineers and scientists. Product approvals take place in most distinguished laboratories of the world. This approval is regularly checked to ensure the accordance of the product with the approved criteria. When it is decided that a product conforms to the required standards, the product is certified and the name of the company is registered in Red Book which is available to users in all over the world.

UL - Underwriters Laboratories Inc.;is a USA-based independent product safety and certification organization which is mainly concentrated on security-related applications. It develops standards and test procedures for products, materials, components, assemblies, devices and equipments. UL grants UL certificate to products which meet the safety standards mostly developed by the organization itself.For more than hundred years, UL tests products and writes safety standards. UL checks more than 19.000 types of products, equipments, materials and systems every year. Every year 72.000 manufacturers produce about 21 billion UL approved products. With its 62 facilities for laboratories, test and certification centers located all over the world UL family of companies serve customers in 99 countries.

CEN - European Committee for Standardization; CEN is the main organization on a Europe level with the aim of setting a common standard in EU. With its area of work being wider compared to the other organizations (CENELECand ETSI), CEN does activities to remove the technical obstacles which affects the functioning of the Single Market negatively by setting common EU standards for every sector. 31 member nations of CEN works together to create European standard. CEN network which includes more than 60.000 technical experts and customers reach to 480 million people in total.

NFPA - National Fire Protection Association;an international non-profit association founded in 1896. Its mission is to decrease the fatal risks due to fire and other accidents by setting codes and standards, researching and offering training programs.NFPA,developed more than 300 codes and standards addressing to minimize the damages of fire and other hazards.There are more than 70000 members of NFPA.

FM Global; has specialized in loss prevention services regarding insurances of buildings under high risk. FM Global is a US origin insurance corporation which has offices worldwide. The risk and insurance calculations are not based upon risk and probability evaluation methods prepared by insurance statisticians but upon engineering calculations.This approach is taken with the belief that it is possible to decrease or prevent loss of property due to security risks.FM Global engineers visit constantly centers all over the world with aim of determining hazards and giving advices, and they provide various services for prevention of losses.

MMO (CME) - Chamber of Mechanical Engineers; Its establishment objectives are;performing technical and scientific studies in order to have high utilization of the natural resources of the country in respect to the benefits of country and society, the increase of production and the development of national industry in the most appropriate way in compliance with the national interests; and letting it‘s members and industry to use and get benefit from these studies. providing the technical responsibility of any research, study, project, and report preparation and application works in its area of profession, to be executed by expert mechanical engineers, performing technical and scientific research studies on industry oriented research and development subjects like work and workers safety, ergonomy, environmental protection, energy production and management, calibration of measurement and testing instruments and other similar subjects. preparing all kinds of standard contracts, technical specifications documents and standards related to its area of profession and helping the education and training of engineers, who own the required qualifications to meet the needs of the country; in co-operation with the institutes, which offer education and training on it‘s area of profession.CME is a member of the Union of Chambers of Turkish Engineers and Architectsand is a public organization.

TSE - Turkish Institute of Standards; With the objective of determining standards for every kind of goods, products, services and procedures TSE was founded in 1960 within the Ministery of Industry and Commerce. The Institute analyzes the standards developed by itself or by other organizations in the world and in case that a standard is found to be appropriate the Institute accepts it as a Turkish standard.

UKAS - The United Kingdom Accreditation Service; is the sole national accreditation body recognised by government to assess, against internationally agreed standards, organisations that provide certification, testing, inspection and calibration services.Accreditation by UKAS demonstrates the competence, impartiality and performance capability of these evaluators.UKAS operates under a Memorandum of Understanding with the Government through the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills.

TÜYAK - Turkey Fire Protection Foundation and Fire Protection Society are founded to provide life safety and property protection against fire. Its main objectives are; to conduct scientific and technological researches for training the society in fire safety, , to support other researchers, to make publications for training programs of public and private enterprises, to help the improvement of standards and devices related to fire protection systems and to do activities which help the fire protection sector to develop and the society to get informed and trained about fire safety.

VDS - VDS is one of the leading independent organizations in fire protection and fire safety fields. VdS is a fully owned subsidiary of the German Insurance Association (GDV). It runs various processes such as monitoring of fire protection systems by official experts and special inspections, testing of products in its own laboratories (components, devices, systems), approval and certification and has a 100 years of experience in firefighting.
